Honoki (Hono/ka and Yu/ki) is the real-life pairing of Honoka Miki and Yuki Furukawa. This pairing also seems to be the most popular and most loved real-life pairing in Itazura na Kiss: Love in Tokyo.

Honoka and Yuki are co-workers and friends. They tend to laugh and are able to joke around with one another on set. They are 10 years apart in real life, but Yuki has stated he doesn't feel the age difference with her. He has also stated that his ideal girl is someone who is mentally older than him, regardless of of whether they're, in reality, 10 years older or 10 years younger (Weibo interview 2015). Yuki calls Honoka, "Kotoko" and Honoka calls Yuki, "Furupon, Furukawa-kun or Pon-chan".
