Kikyou Motoki (桔梗 幹), also known as Motto, is one of Kotoko Aihara's classmates at nursing school. She and Marina Shinagawa had admired and liked Naoki Irie, when they found out about that Naoki had a wife, they guessed that his wife was smart, beautiful, and talented. At first they thought his wife was Yuuko Matsumoto, because they saw them together when they were following Naoki. Later, Naoki visits the nursing department and reminded Kotoko from his mother, in much total shock for everyone. Motto teases Kotoko about it and said she still had a chance, making Kotoko a little pissed about it. She then later volunteered to recite the vow of the nightingale. Kotoko was picked instead, causing her to feel down. When Kotoko tries to memorize it, Motto appears and recites it perfectly and explains that she wanted to wear the nurse's cap for a long time and that it was her dream. Kotoko gives her advice and during the ceremony, she wears a pink dress. After some persuasion she was able to wear the nurse's cap and became a graduated nurse with Marina, Tomoko, Keita and Kotoko (who was still clumsy and all).
