Nobuhiro Kimura (木村 ノブヒロ Kimura Nobuhiro) became Yuuki Irie's friend at the age of nine when he went to the hospital. Nobuhiro boy had problems with kidneys and was unable to live with his parents. He reappears in the 20th episode of the anime series and emerges as a "pretty-boy male model". Nobu's hair became blond and he had grown taller as a result of puberty. Aihara-san, Irie-san and Yuuki-kun invite him for dinner after seeing him at the hospital, in which Kotoko-san and Irie-kun work in. His selfishness and pessimistic attitude emerge to the rest after 7 long years of not seeing each other and being an international superstar. At the end of episode 21, Nobu is slapped by Kotoko for being incredibly selfish and refusing to enter the surgery proposed by Naoki. However, he comes to his senses and enters the surgery to remove his tumorous kidney.

- Nobuhiro's surname Kimura means "tree, wood" (木) (ki) and "town, village" (村) (mura).
